Enjoy nature at its finest at the Missouri Botanical Garden. The oldest botanical garden in the country and a National Historic Landmark, the Garden has been internationally recognized for horticulture, education and scientific research since its founding in 1859. It is truly a St. Louis treasure! You may take a public tram tour which will wind its way through the 79 acres of flora from a variety of diverse climates. Visit the Climatron, the first geodesic dome greenhouse based on Buckminster Fuller's futuristic design. Included is a visit to the 14-acre Japanese Garden, considered one of the finest outside Japan. There will also be time to explore your favorite areas on your own.

Next, explore the real character of St. Louis through three of its most historic neighborhoods. The first neighborhood, Compton Heights, was developed in the late nineteenth century by the newly wealthy German beer barons. Lafayette Square features renovated Victorian mansions and row houses which surround Lafayette Park, the oldest public park west of the Mississippi. Soulard is a delightful, old working-class neighborhood, which boasts the oldest continuous farmer's market west of the Mississippi River.

Then visit the more than 3,500 residents living in their natural habitats on 90 acres. From the historic 1904 Flight Cage to the thrilling Penguin & Puffin Coast, this is one unforgettable experience.

Your Destination St. Louis tour guide will familiarize you with the rich history of the colorful Busch family en route to the King of Beers – the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Situated in a 100-acre complex with over 70 red brick structures, the Brewery buildings are known for their unique architecture and several are National Historic Landmarks. During the tour, you will see the world famous Clydesdales, the Fermentation Building, the Packaging and Bottling Plant, the Brew House and a film about the brewing process. No visit would be complete without a stop in the hospitality room to sample the family of Anheuser-Busch products.

Experience historic St. Louis at the city's original settlement, Laclede's Landing. Now a nine-block historic district filled with renovated turn-of-the-century buildings housing shops, eateries and offices this favorite area of the city for locals is located steps outside the door of Lumiere Place. While there, have dinner at one of the many original St. Louis restaurants lining the cobblestone streets. Lumiere Place is home to St. Louis' newest casino as well as the ultimate nightlife destination. The casino features over 75,000 square feet of gaming and is surrounded by some of St. Louis' most sought after dining and nightlife spots.

This evening you will have a chance to experience The Loop, a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places and named "One of the 10 Great Streets in America". The Loop is a six-block area complete with restaurants, shopping, art and entertainment and is named after the old streetcar turn-around that was once a part of the Delmar line. The motor coach will follow that old route down Delmar Blvd., entering The Loop through the majestic Lions Gate.

Originally erected in 1909, the lions were replaced in 1989, from molds of the original cats. The St. Louis Walk of Fame is located in The Loop, honoring the famous citizens of St. Louis with brass stars and biographies. A few of the honorees include Tina Turner, John Goodman, Tennessee Williams, Scott Joplin and Josephine Baker. You can play a tune on the world's best jukebox at Blueberry Hill where Chuck Berry and other St. Louis stars perform regularly in the intimate Duck Room. Other highlights include The Pageant, a state of the art concert venue, the Tivoli Theatre and Pin-Up Bowl, a retro bowling alley and martini bar.
