Activities can only be purchased through MIC conference registration. (Attendees already registered: Instructions on how to access your registration and reserve your spot for one of the Tuesday evening tours will be sent to each attendee.)

Tours may be refunded in full up to the close of business on September 9. After that date, tour purchases are non-refundable.

ANGEL’S ENVY DISTILLERY TOUR

COST – $95 PER PERSON  |  MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE  |  75 PERSON MAXIMUM

Join us in the heart of Louisville’s Bourbon District for an exclusive evening at Angel’s Envy, where tradition meets innovation. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the distillation process during the Signature Tour, led by expert guides, and conclude with a tasting of three premium Angel’s Envy whiskeys, paired with signature chocolates.

Before and after your tour, relax and network in the private Finishing Room from 5:30–8:30 p.m. to network with fellow Members and NISC staff.

  • Light snacks and a cash bar available.
  • The gift shop will also be open for purchases.
  • Tour times: 5:30–7 p.m. (every 15 minutes, up to 12 guests per tour).
  • Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to the distillery.

RABBIT HOLE DISTILLERY TOUR

COST – $75 PER PERSON  |  MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE  |  60 PERSON MAXIMUM

Step inside one of the most architecturally stunning stops on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Rabbit Hole crafts unique, small-batch bourbons and ryes using signature malted grains and a lower barrel-entry proof to preserve bold, original flavors.

This one-hour immersive tour takes you through the full whiskey-making process and ends with a guided tasting in the stunning Overlook Lounge.

Before and after your tour, enjoy a private gathering space from 6–8 p.m. to network with fellow Members and NISC staff.

  • Light snacks and a cash bar will be provided.
  • Tour times: 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. (up to 20 guests per tour).
  • Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to the distillery.

KENTUCKY DErbY MUSEUM & CHURCHILL DOWNS EXPERIENCE

COST – $125 PER PERSON  |  INCLUDES DINNER BUFFET  |  420 PERSON MAXIMUM

Step into the magic of the Kentucky Derby at this one-of-a-kind evening at Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Museum! Enjoy immersive exhibits, over 20,000 artifacts, a 360° Derby film, and a massive bourbon collection—plus live mock horse racing for prizes and a visit from the official Kentucky Derby Bugler.

Walk the Grandstands, visit the historic track rail and hear behind-the-scenes stories of legendary Derby winners and the race’s evolution. Tours of Churchill Downs are limited to 55 people per tour. Available times are as follows:

  • 6–6:30 p.m. (Tours 1 & 2)
  • 6:30–7 p.m. (Tours 3 & 4)
  • 7–7:30 p.m. (Tours 5 & 6)
  • 7:30–8 p.m. (Tours 7 & 8)

Buses will begin loading at 5:30 p.m. and depart the Kentucky International Convention Center precisely at 5:45 p.m.! Your ticket includes:

  • Roundtrip transportation from the Kentucky International Convention Center
  • Churchill Downs tour
  • Full access to the Kentucky Derby Museum
  • Full dinner buffet
  • Cash bar

Please be aware that if you visit the websites of some activity options, you may find less expensive tours available. However, NISC has successfully arranged for these venues to open after hours (so you don’t have to miss any educational sessions), ensuring an elevated and exclusive experience for our participants.
